Wednesday, May 11th, we will be co-hosting the Career Day with Pansy Kidd Middle School and Community State Bank. This event is designed to help students consider career possibilites in relation to their own personal interests, talents, aptitudes and financial goals. We hope to have representatives from a variety of occupations and community service organizations. Would you consider being a part of this educational event?
Eight Grade Students from around the County will be attending.
It will be from 9:00am to 11:30 am. (Set up begins at 7:45)
Handouts are welcome, but the school has requested that no gum, candy, rubber bands, balloons or noisemakers be given.
If you could make a post-card sized or bookmark sized handout with brief information about the training required, market availability, and salary expectations for someone in your field, it would be helpful.
If you would like to participate please call the Chamber of Commerce no later that May 1st so that we can reserve your spot.
